Football Player Welsh Athlete Ramsey Boosts Reward for Lost Dog in Mexico to $$20k
Welsh football star Aaron Ramsey has raised the bounty for leads concerning the missing pet named Halo to £15,000.
The former Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who currently is with Pumas UNAM in the capital, stated that the beagle was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state zone.
Halo, who vanished on October 9th, was had on a GPS collar, and the footballer shared a Google maps location of her last known location.
"Any sort of updates concerning our pet Halo kindly get in touch with us. Substantial incentive for locating her. We are all praying she's ok and comes home to our family soon," the athlete posted on Instagram.
Initial Offer and Heartfelt Appeals
The footballer first revealed that his dog had vanished 14 days prior and has since uploaded multiple pictures of the cherished dog on his social media account.
A $10,000 bounty was originally provided, but with absence of information on Halo's whereabouts after a week, Ramsey and his family increased the sum.
"Our only wish is our pet home," he stated in another appeal on social media after the 10-year-old pet went missing.
The most recent photograph upload is a monochrome snapshot of Halo snoozing, her head lying in the curve of the athlete's elbow, with the caption: "What I'd do to hold you again sweet Halo."
Household's Anxieties and Context
The footballer has additionally posted a statement from his spouse Colleen on social media mentioning they have a few "serious queries" surrounding the incident and are concerned the household "might not get explanations".
"We still haven't found Halo. I fear we ever will," the spouse's post read.
The Wales skipper became part of Mexican first division team Club Universidad Nacional earlier this year and had his debut in Liga MX in August.
